Welcome to All Saints-by-the-Sea

All Saints has enjoyed more than a century of ministry to our community, serving with exceptional worship, education, and outreach. Many regard our church building, with its stained glass windows, craftsman architecture, and location just yards from the beach as one of the loveliest on the Central Coast. We believe that the building reflects the spirit of the people who worship in it. As well as a remarkable building, God has blessed us with remarkable members. We have legacy of gifts we mean to share with all whom we meet in order to further establish the Kingdom of God. If you are traveling through our community or searching for a church home, you are warmly invited to worship with us and learn more about All Saints. Please feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail and we will be delighted to give you more information. Our phone number is 805.969.4771, or email us at info@allsaintsbythesea.org.

12:00 p.m. Wednesdays in July/August New for summer, the Brown Bag and Book group. Bring your brown bag lunch and join the Rev. Liz on Wednesdays at noon for lunch and book discussion. Please contact Rev. Liz at 805.969.4771.

Vounteer at General Convention
The General Convention of the Episcopal Church USA will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center, from July 8 through July 17, 2009.
About 1500 volunteers are needed to make the convention run smoothly, and because the convention will be held so near us, 1200 are needed from our Diocese. A variety of volunteer positions is available, including some supervisors to manage daily volunteers. Some of the skills especially needed are computer literacy, interaction with people, foreign language skills, physical stamina,  and general office skills.  Supervisory roles require people, decision-making, problem-solving and motivational skills, as well as flexibility.
You can sign up to volunteer at the Welcome Table on Sunday, or find out more information by clicking here.

Summer Suppers on the Patio
Summer suppers will return this year, on Wednesdays July 15 and August 19. The pot-luck supper will replace the usual soup supper after Eventide, though the service will proceed as normal. Childcare will be extended to cover the Eventide service and Summer Suppers. We'll see you then!
