Helping our neighbors

All Saints has an exciting opportunity to come together with the other three churches of Montecito (collectively, we call ourselves M-4) to assemble backpacks for local children who are in need. We are working with an organization called People's Self-Help Housing, a nonprofit that helps families and individuals achieve housing with dignity, giving them the support and resources they need to overcome the challenges of poverty. Education is of course one of the post important means to do this. By helping make sure these children have adequate school supplies, we will be continuing a tradition of outreach by All Saints-by-the-Sea to share our time, talent and treasure to improve the lives of others.  Last year we assembled 800 backpacks, and this year we will assemble 900!
